Repairing the Rudder: Part Two showed you how to rebuild the inside of the rudder and close the two halves together. Now it is time to protect the inside from the sea by rebuilding the outside.

This video will show you how to use the most modern materials to easily finish protecting the rudder. Easy-to-use resin, fiberglass sheets, two-part epoxy putty and lots of sanding make the rudder look like new. Two-part epoxy paint forms the barrier coating and two coats of anti-fouling ablative bottom paint finish the job.
